StoreForce enables Sun & Ski stores and Field Managers to easily identify and action opportunities to maximize sales during high potential periods.
Houston, TX, December 12, 2016 – StoreForce, the global leader in Store Performance and Labor Management Tools for Specialty Retail, announced that Sun & Ski has completed the roll out of StoreForce to all stores.
For Sean Rutherford, VP Information Technology for Sun & Ski, the decision to implement StoreForce was based on leveraging data-driven performance insights to drive sales. “We wanted a system that objectively measures Associate performance and automates scheduling to ensure that projected peak hours are identified and top performing Associates are scheduled on the store floor when they need to be,” said Rutherford. Sun & Ski sells a broad range of sporting goods from skis and snowboards through to running gear and bikes. StoreForce’s ability to schedule the right number of qualified sales specialists – without under or over scheduling store labor – is critical to Sean.
Weather conditions influence store sales at Sun & Ski, and Sean sees tremendous value in StoreForce’s ability to track and report on the weather. The ability to scale labor up or down based on current trends as well as weather forecasts is crucial to success.
Like most Specialty Retailers, Sun & Ski runs a lean I/T shop. “StoreForce implemented, trained and deployed the system in under 2 months as promised. It’s configured precisely to our needs and requires minimal I/T support,” said Rutherford.
